Who we are
The Investor Forum was established in 2014 as a not-for-profit member organisation, following the recommendations of the Kay Review of UK equity markets and the Collective Engagement Working Group. We are an investor-led organisation whose governance is independent of any trade association.
We bridge the gaps that arise within the market. We seek to unite companies and investors, to help build and restore trust, with an unwavering commitment to creating long-term value for all stakeholders.

Independent advice
The Forum is supported by an independent Legal Panel that assists through regular review of the Collective Engagement Framework, offers practical “no names” discussions of topics arising in company engagements, and runs workshops for Members on legal and compliance issues impacting investor stewardship activities.
